In a chaotic world marked by conflict and social upheaval, the Buddhist Academy of Europe (BAEU) aspires to guide society towards a more compassionate and peaceful future. Buddhism emphasizes the importance of personal development, the cultivation of inner peace, and altruistic action rooted in a deep connection with others, all of which are crucial for fostering a harmonious and well-functioning society. BAEU will provide a space for students, faculty, and life-long learners to explore these themes and develop the skills and attitudes necessary for personal growth and social responsibility.
World-renowned spiritual leader Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche, along with his esteemed team of academic advisors, is working to establish a groundbreaking Buddhist Academy in the heart of Europe. This institution will offer rigorous and ethically impeccable instruction while also conducting academic research at the highest level. By bringing together expertise and meticulous cross-disciplinary academic research on the Buddhist teachings, BAEU aims to create a transformative space for the flourishing of faculty, students, and society alike.
